FluxData Inc. has released the FD-1840+, a modular high-performance NIST-traceable spectroradiometer. The device features a handheld ergonomic spotting scope, 380- to 1000-nm VIS/NIR corrected lenses, a high-throughput spectrometer and spectral processing software. It measures 89 × 63 × 35 mm and weighs 224 g. It can measure spectral radiance, luminance, spectral irradiance, illuminance, radiant intensity, CCT and XYZ. Applications include electroluminescent displays and commercial lighting. The device has no moving parts.
