The Xcelera-CL LX1 Base frame grabber announced by Dalsa Corp. is for use with Camera Link Base cameras. The company says that the board is easy to set up and use, delivers reliable image acquisition and offers extensive software support. Designed for the PCI Express ×1 interface, the frame grabber can acquire images from a variety of multitap area- and line-scan, color and monochrome cameras. Camera Link is supported up to 85 MHz, and the device is Power Over Camera Link-compliant. The included Sapera Essential software features 1-/2-D bar codes, optical character recognition, pattern finding, color and blob analysis, and lens correction tools.
