Association of Industrial Laser Users(AILU)
An independent nonprofit organization run by and for the UK industrial laser community. AILU publishes a quarterly magazine, runs workshops and provides consultancy services, all designed to improve the uptake of laser technology and encourage best practice in laser use. Membership in 2009 was over 300, representing over 200 organizations, the majority of which are UK SMEs involved in the use of lasers in industrial manufacture.
