Manufacturer of organic dyes and light absorbing compounds that manage UV, visible, and NIR light within injected molded and cast plastic parts, films, laminates, adhesives, and coatings. Our materials add performance and value to laser, welding, performance eyewear, light filters, sensor covers, display materials, inks, and night vision products.

Manufactures a wide range of IR sources or lamps primarily for the OEM market. Products include pulsable sources utilizing tungsten and Nichrome (NiCr) and steady-state sources utilizing Kanthal and NiCr filaments. All are constructed in industry standard TO-39, TO-8, and TO-3 size packages with gold-plated parabolic reflectors.

LaserPoint manufactures laser power and energy meters for laser measurements with high accuracy up to multi-kilowatts optical power level. We also provide patented high-tech solutions to measure ultrafast lasers down to femtosecond pulse duration and high repetition rates up to MHz range.

Manufacture and research of high performance dyes. Our expertise includes narrow-band visible and infrared absorber dyes for optical filters, as well as fluorescent, and the closely-related laser dyes. Since early 2017 Exciton has been part of Luxottica, a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear.

Designs and manufactures piezo nanopositioning systems and nanoscale precision instruments for metrology, photonics, astronomy, and microscopy. Photon etc. is a Canadian-Quebec company, founded in 2003, specialized in the design and manufacturing of hyperspectral and infrared imaging systems. With applications ranging from geology to material sorting, food processing and more, we are able to easily integrate our products into various industries.
