The Picard Industries USB-Shutter offers a compact and simple
method of automating the blocking of a beam path. The pivoting-paddle shutter is
powered and controlled through a USB port, providing a self-powered, hot-pluggable
method of control unmatched in industry. Multiple shutter control is possible with
an externally powered USB hub. Custom software is provided that operates on any
standard PC running Windows XP/Vista. LabView drivers and DLL files are provided
for integrating the shutter control into your own automation.
