Pinpoint Laser Systems offers an adjustable microshim for precision machine leveling, positioning and mounting applications. This shim provides height positions in increments of 0.001 in. over a range of 1 in. for supporting machinery, equipment and a high-load-bearing capacity. The device can be adjusted at any time, or it can be locked into place using a bonding agent. It comprises a pair of overlapping wedge plates with machined surfaces that allow the plates to slide parallel to one another. The user can adjust the relative positioning of the two plates with the stainless steel bolt and bar nut assembly.
