Intercon 1 designed its 89878-11P Camera Link cable as an interface between camera and frame grabber. The company says that the cable provides a flex life of more than 1 million cycles for demanding industrial and scientific applications. The 100-(omega), twisted-wire cable is individually shielded and incorporates InterFlex extended life-cycle characteristics. It comprises 11 28-AWG shielded pairs, four 28-AWG drain wires, PTFE tape wrap for cycle life, dual-reverse spiral-serve shielding with 90% minimum coverage and a PVC tube jacket formulated with advanced compounds.
