The OptiGrafix optical polymer film products are designed to enable, enhance or protect optical applications involving polarized or coherent light. Grafix Plastics says these films are economical and offer uniform distribution of birefringence, as well as high-quality clarity, light transmission and dimensional stability. Film grades include the OC, with low levels of birefringence; the CF, with fractional λ/4 values of birefringence; and the QW λ/4 retardation type. The CF and QW grades are suitable retarders for LCD applications.
