The FP1800HB/Rmax active-matrix LCD monitor, which is designed for use in severe environments, has been introduced by Image Systems Corp. The sunlight-readable device provides a 160° viewing angle and 340-NITS brightness, and operates between VGA and 1280 x 1024-pixel resolution. The stand-alone display can be used for rack-mount or console applications. The optional mounting assembly meets MIL-S-901 standards for shock and MIL-STD-167 for vibration. The monitor can display up to 16 million colors and can be dimmed to zero for night viewing.
