Point Grey Research Inc. has added 1.3-MP CCD models to its Blackfly family of GigE Vision cameras.
The BFLY-PGE-13H2 cameras are capable of streaming 1288 × 964-pixel resolution images at 30 fps.
They are based on the RJ33J4CA3DE (monochrome) and RJ33J3CA3DE (color) 1/3-in. global shutter CCD sensors from Sharp Corp., which feature a microlens design to improve quantum efficiency in the visible and near-infrared regions.
Features include power over Ethernet, temperature and status monitoring, in-field updatable firmware, color interpolation, look-up table, gamma correction, and pixel binning functionality.
