Edmund Optics has introduced new TechSpec UV-NIR neutral density filters for applications including spectroscopy, machine vision and ellipsometry.

These filters attenuate light from the UV to the NIR, providing constant ultrabroadband transmission from 190 to 1700 nm.

They are available in 18 models with diameters of 12.5, 25 and 50 mm and with optical densities of 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 1.3, 1.5 and 2.0. They exhibit parallelism of less than 5 arcsec with good surface characteristics.

The filters can be stacked to create intermediate density values.
