AJS-V6 Adjustment Screws

Designed for demanding vacuum environments, the AJS-V6 series of adjustment screws from Newport are low outgassing and 10-6 Torr compatible.

The AJS-V6 screws are available in two sizes with 100 TPI (threads per inch) and 170-TPI resolution. Thread pitch is 0.15 mm per turn with travel ranges of 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 inch. Allen key adjustment and integrated locks avoid accidental misalignment.

The use of bronze virtually eliminates the presence of zinc, which sublimates in a vacuum environment. After machining, each component is chemically cleaned in an ultrasonic bath to remove contamination.

All adjustment screws come packed in clean, sealed bags, ready for cleanroom, high sensitivity laser and vacuum chamber applications.
