Owis Fapo seriesOwis GmbH has introduced three new series of position equipment.

The Fapo series of fiber positioners (pictured) allow sensitive adjustment in the nanometer range for microscopy and fiber optics applications. The positioners are available with either FC or SMA adapters for fastening fibers. Certain models are available with fine-thread FGS 15 screws for a spindle pitch of 0.15 mm. Other models enable adjustments along three or four axes.

Suitable for continuous operation, the manual Go and motorized Mogo goniometers may be used with the company's Sys 65 and Sys 90 beam-handling systems and offer a range of load capacities.

The Limes 124-IMS linear stages are suitable for continuous use in R&D and industrial applications where space is limited. The are available in different installation sizes and travel ranges up to 290 mm, with a two-phase step motor or DC servo motor with encoder.
