The LBRQ imaging illumination system from EVT Eye Vision Technology GmbH is now controllable with the company's BrainLight controller.
LBRQ consists of four LED bars arranged in a square that can be adjusted to different angles to suit the device under test. It can be used as direct incident light from above or as indirect incident light from different angles. It is also possible to create a dark field, for the inspection of rectangular objects.
Each bar can also be adjusted separately in brightness and intensity. Diffusers are available for each LED bar to avoid reflections. Available colors are red, green, blue and white. UV and IR illuminations are also available on request.
Applications include inspection of cracks and surfaces, connector points and prints.
Used with EyeVision software, the BrainLight controller serves as the physical interface to the image processing system. The controller has four inputs and four outputs.
