AngströmBond AB9320 is a two-part blue epoxy designed for terminating multimode, single-mode and multifiber connectors. Fiber Optic Center Inc. says this low-stress adhesive does not cause fiber core cracking or fiber pistoning. It can be cured in 10 min at 100 °C, has a 90-min working time and produces a glass transition temperature of more than 120 °C. The adhesive bonds to glass, ceramics, metals and most plastics, which allows it to pass the stringent specifications for single- and multimode terminations.
