Nanomotion Inc. says the STM series piezoelectric motors are the smallest of their kind and that their ability to drive linear and rotary devices makes them well-suited for semiconductor, fiber optic, electronics, automotive and general assembly applications. The motors provide high-resolution motion control in the low-nanometer range at speeds of up to 250 mm/s. They have no intrinsic magnetic field and offer 1 N of force and 1 N of static holding capability.
