TracePro version 2.4 illumination and optomechanical analysis software has been released by Lambda Research Corp. It offers a graphical user interface that can visualize RepTile surfaces and importance targets. Multiple exit surfaces and the surface property catalogs Anofol and Sacall are included in the program, which also offers user-defined libraries and the capacity to define nonuniform temperature distributions on surfaces. A new display model option allows users to define ray color as a function of flux, and a spreadsheet for source-emittance characteristics enables adjustment of source parameters such as angular distribution and flux information.
