The Matrox Imaging Products Group's low-cost frame grabber has advanced true-color, real-time analog acquisition and display capabilities. The Matrox Corona provides up to 24-bit color capture from component or composite sources. The frame grabber also can capture from TTL or RS-422 digital video sources. Video data are simultaneously captured to on-board display WRAM and transferred to host memory in real time at >100 MB/s. Applications include biomedical analysis, metrology, food grading and image cataloging.
