The SPA-9000 Windows-based software from ILX Lightwave Corp. is designed for use with the LPA-9080 parameter analyzer. It provides parametric analysis of laser diodes and is optimized for fast L-I curve generation. The software includes a test edit Wizard for creating test setups, and users can customize screen-based and -printed test output. A built-in Access database facilitates data analysis, report generation and export of data, and a manual control mode allows the LPA-9080 to operate as a laser diode controller with an internal power meter.
