Laser diode sources that provide stable output directly or via fiber optic cable are offered by Oz Optics Ltd. The light sources are available at wavelengths from 400 to 1625 nm and with output up to 20 mW. The compact devices have collimating optics that produce beams with divergences below 0.5 mrad. Built-in temperature control reduces wavelength variations to <0.1 nm. An optional laser-to-fiber coupler and fiber optic patch cord provide circular Gaussian output. Standard single-mode and polarization-maintaining versions are available.
