Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. has upgraded its Model IK-M43A miniature CCD camera to fit standard C-mount lenses without the use of an adapter. Applications include microscopy, machine vision, surveillance and education. The camera has a 410,000-pixel CCD image sensor, a microlens for enhanced low-light sensitivity and 470-line resolution. An on-board RS-232 control allows the user to set function parameters through a remote PC. The camera also can be mounted to microscopes and fiberscopes.
