The latest upgrade to the family of LabView graphical development products from National Instruments is LabView 7 Express. Besides the LabView Base, Full and Professional Development Systems, the upgrade includes four add-on modules: the FPGA, for developing applications to run FPGAs on the company's reconfigurable I/O hardware; the PDA, for creating portable handheld measurement and control applications on Microsoft Pocket PC or Palm OS PDAs; the real-time, for developing deterministic, real-time and embedded control applications; and the data logging and supervisory control device, for developing distributed monitoring and control applications.
