Holo/Or Ltd. announces a series of double- and triple-spot beamsplitters to facilitate and accelerate high-power laser marking, scribing and other processing tasks. The company says that theoretical diffraction efficiency for the triple spot is 91.8 percent and that the dual spot reduces the unwanted power in the zero order and nears the theoretical value of 0 percent. The components enable simultaneous drilling and processing at a number of positions on the same part. The position locations are aligned with respect to each other. The company offers the elements for lasers from 193 to 1060 nm.
