This edition features faster audit and ray-tracing times, new ray-tracing algorithms using voxels and faceted spline surfaces, and incident ray table visualization. Its measurement tools can display distances from edge to edge, vertex to vertex and surface to surface, and it includes the ACIS R10 geometry kernel. The company says the software reduces product development time by between 30% and 50%.
