Clark-MXR Inc. The Nopa Pulse Shaper from Clark-MXR Inc. is a noncollinear optical parametric amplifier that generates pulses of arbitrarily shaped phase and amplitude by means of an embedded acousto-optic modulator. It produces up to 6-µJ output pulse energy, tunable from 480 to 695 nm and from 900 to 1900 nm. The company says the compact device offers rapid updating, high stability and good contrast. It measures 18.5 X 32.5 X 7 in. and is suitable for applications in quantum control, spectroscopy and telecommunications research.
