A video-frame-rate camera designed to enable high-resolution video studies that will advance image systems used for the military and for surveillance reconnaissance missions has been developed by Imaging Solutions Group of New York Inc. The ISG QuadHDTV camera uses a CMOS image sensor from Silicon Video Inc. that has 3840 × 2160 pixels, for 8.2 megapixels of data running at 30 fps. It has four SMPTE 292 outputs for standard video recording and four DVI outputs for display purposes.
