DFB Lasers Two high-power distributed-feedback-laser systems have been unveiled by Koheras A/S. The Pulsik module operates from 1530 to 1565 nm and features high wavelength stability and repetition rates, a 1-kHz linewidth and low phase noise. It is suitable for lidar, spectroscopy and acoustic sensing. The Boostik module is a CW benchtop device with power levels of up to 5 W. The company says that it offers maintenance-free operation, single-mode fiber delivery and a wide wavelength selection with tunability options.
