LASER DIODE MODULES A line of temperature-stabilized laser diode modules for display, fluorescence, high-resolution printing, industrial inspection, interferometry, machine vision, medical procedures, metrology, microscopy and spectroscopy applications is available from Frankfurt Laser Co. They provide a circular beam shape, low beam divergence, and <1% output and <0.1-nm wavelength stability over a temperature range from 0 to 50 °C. The optical signal can be modulated through an integrated port at up to 1 MHz digital and 20 kHz analog. Wavelengths covered by the various models range from 405 to 1690 nm, tunable within a 6-nm range.
