Lissotschenko Mikrooptik GmbH (Limo) has released a line of compact, fiber-coupled, hermetically sealed diode lasers in standard wavelengths from 800 to 1000 nm. The high-brightness lasers feature CW output powers of 32 W out of a 400-µm fiber and 25 W out of a 200-µm fiber, with typical current values of less than 40 A. Application areas include medical, industrial and defense, as well as the pumping of solid-state lasers.
