Mounted Optical Shutters Packaged With Benchtop Drive Electronics
DENVER, Aug. 5 -- Boulder Nonlinear Systems Inc. (BNS) announced today the release of its new XT-series optical shutter technology evaluation kit. This kit includes new one-inch-diameter, mounted versions of the XT-series optical shutter. In addition, a new benchtop liquid crystal device (LCD) driver provides the drive electronics signal required for XT-series optical shutters.
The new mounted version of the XT-series optical shutter is designed to mate with most standard one-inch rotation stages. This design compatibility is viewed as essential to leverage existing laboratory hardware, common to most university and industrial facilities worldwide.
Data sheets describing the optical shutter technology evaluation kits are being distributed at the SPIE annual meeting, being held this week at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
