Providing a 23-mm clear aperture to accommodate large laser beams from tunable laser sources, achromatic wave plates from Tower Optical Corp. are designed to maintain a constant retardation. Available in spectral ranges from 465 to 610 nm, 700 to 1000 nm and 1200 to 1650 nm, the series AO25A includes wave plates for λ/4 and λ/2 retardation. They feature cemented construction and are available with or without a 30-mm mounting ring.
