Advanced Research Instruments Corp. is offering the F-100T Version 7 fast-pulse amplifier-discriminator. The unit is compatible with most rate meters or frequency counters, and can serve as a replacement for preamplifiers, linear amplifiers or lower-level discriminators. The device amplifies and processes pulses from a PMT or electron multiplier. It can be placed next to a detector to minimize noise and maximize useful sensitivity. Input sensitivity ranges from 100 µV to 160 mV, and the maximum pulse repetition rate is 50 MHz.
