The FHR series spectrometers announced by Horiba Jobin Yvon Inc.'s Optical Spectroscopy Div. are available in focal lengths of 640 or 1000 mm and are equipped with a precision-wavelength drive system and a grating system, both autocalibrating. The motorized slits are adjustable from 0 to 2 mm in 2-µm increments. Controlled via RS-232 or IEEE-488 interfaces, they run on SynerJY and LabView Vls software. Kinematically mounted 110 × 110-mm gratings are designed for easy interchange. The FHR 640 and FHR 1000 are available in configurations for Raman, emission and high-resolution spectroscopy.
