Concave blazed holographic gratings available from Edmund Optics simplify system design and integration, decreasing instrumentation size and increasing sensitivity. Formed on concave precision glass substrates, they serve as the primary dispersive and focusing elements. They have groove densities ranging from 265 to 800/mm and are aberration-corrected to eliminate astigmatism. Applications include analytical instruments for food analysis, plastics manufacturing and quality assurance, as well as optical communications, colorimetry, biotechnology, chromatography and medical instrumentation.
