PixeLink has unveiled its PixeLink Capture Standard Edition software application for use with microscopes and the company’s digital cameras. Features include fast live preview of image data from the computer, full control of the camera and image-capture settings, image calibration and measurement to quantify image features, and user-defined presets to change camera settings and measurement calibrations quickly, as microscope objectives are changed. An image database provides archiving and storage of image and measurement data.
