(AMI), a manufacturer of analog electronic products for the laser and electro-optics industries with applications in medical, military, scientific and industrial markets, has introduced the Model 772 pulsed laser diode driver. The Model 772 is a highly efficient (greater than 70 percent), compact (4.3 in. x 2.7 in. x 1.5 in.), lightweight (less than 10.5 oz.) polyphase unit designed to supply high current pulses for laser diode stack loads.
