Armstrong Optical Ltd.’s IR112 thermal sensor module enables operators to use 40% more pixels for 8- to 14-µm infrared imaging applications. Based on a 384 × 288-pixel array of 35-µm square pixels made from amorphous silicon, the uncooled microbolometer array integrates easily into third-party thermal imaging camera systems.
