SpectraSuite modular Java-based spectroscopy software from Ocean Optics Inc. controls the company’s USB spectrometers and devices as well as other manufacturers’ USB instruments employing the appropriate drivers. Running on Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems, SpectraSuite allows users to combine data from multiple USB spectrometers in upwelling/downwelling measurements, dual-beam referencing and process monitoring. Users can add or delete modules to create a proprietary interface or functionality, create modules to make calculations or automate routines for experiments. The program manages multiple USB spectrometers, each of which has different acquisition parameters, in multiple windows and provides graphical and numerical representations of spectra from each instrument.
