Nikon Instruments Inc. has released its NIS-Elements imaging software for use by bioresearch, clinical, industrial and documentation professionals to deliver automated intelligence to microscopes, cameras and peripheral components. The suite comprises four packages, three of which are available now. NIS-Elements AR is advanced research software for 6-D image acquisition and analysis; BR is basic research software for 4-D acquisition; and F is freeware, an image-capture package that is bundled with all of the company’s digital cameras. The software optimizes the imaging process and work flow and provides integrated information management for system-based microscopy.
