Request Infopiezosystem jena GmbHJENA, Germany, Feb. 9 -- Piezosystem Jena has developed a gripper system for the smallest components in micro- and nanotechnology. The gripper, based on a miniaturized piezo actuator, has solid-state flexure hinges and a 300-µm range of motion. Combined with adaptable tools, this system can be enlarged accordingly. A piezoelectrical actuator with sub-nm resolution ensures a precise aperture angle in the direction of motion. The actuator is closed by the elastic resilience of a spring. The gripper force can be adjusted precisely, and the outside design of the gripper can be easily configured....See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jul/Aug 2023 IssueCooled sCMOS CamerasXimea’s MJ042MR-GP-P11-BSI-UV model was added to its portfolio of scientific cameras.
