The SP-Eye is a compact monochrome camera system from Photonic Science capable of producing images from both video rate bright-field and integrated low-light fluorescence applications. It features a Peltier-cooled CCD sensor to improve signal-to-noise ratio and allow on-chip image integration of weak fluorescence signals for several seconds. The system includes a camera head, power supply, PCI bus digital interface card and software.
