TCSPC MICROSCOPE Horiba Jobin Yvon Inc. has coupled time-correlated single-photon-counting (TCSPC) components with a filter-based confocal system to enable measurement of fluorescence lifetime and intensity from 240 to 850 nm directly under the microscope without a dedicated spectrofluorometer. Incorporating an IBH TBX-04 PMT detector and interchangeable pulsed nanoLED sources, including the company’s deep-UV diodes (280, 295 and 340 nm), the system can measure fluorescence lifetimes from <100 ps to 100 µs and phosphorescence lifetimes of >10 µs. It offers variable spatial resolution with selectable pinholes and is suitable for intrinsic protein fluorescence measurements.
