WHITE LED RINGLIGHT

Photonics Spectra
Apr 2006
Orled (See Sensoray)Request Info

Orled.jpgOrled has released the RL-9 ring-light, which illuminates a 2-in. spot with 55,000 lx. The brightness of the output enables its use with high-magnification optics, illuminates fine details and reduces eye fatigue. The ringlight uses high-power white LED lamps that prevent heating of the subject. Its lens design directs light from individual sources to the center line of the ringlight and blends it into an even luminescent spot. A current-controlled power supply plugs into standard outlets. A brightness control allows the output to be dialed from full to zero to suit the application. The ringlight, in a housing with a 4-in. outer and 2-in. inner diameter, is compatible with inspection microscopes from leading manufacturers.
