Electrophysics is pleased to introduce the Emerald LR, an ultracompact long-range, multifield-of-view thermal surveillance camera. The Emerald LR incorporates a highly sensitive midwave 640x480 MCT focal plane array sensor with 15-micron pixel pitch, motorized triple field-of-view optic and state-of–the-art 14-bit digital electronics in a compact and waterproof housing. The Emerald LR is the ideal camera for a number of demanding applications. The smaller pixel size enables the integration of a 640 x 480 focal plane array into the volume of a traditional 320 x 240 system. The Emerald LR is compliant with military specifications and is marine-qualified to operate in tough environmental conditions. The Emerald LR offers three fields of view -- 22° x 16° (wide) 6.6° x 5.2° (miid) and 1.7° x 1.3° (narrow) -- delivering detection and identification capabilities at distances beyond 18 km. Emerald LR has advanced features including variable integration time, variable frame rates (up to 120 Hz - full frame), an RS-422 digital output and a radiometric calibration option. The system is designed to interface with Altair real-time 14-bit image recording software.
