Aerotech Inc. is offering its modular AGS10000 series gantry positioning systems for applications such as laser cutting and welding, dispensing, and point-to-point and contoured-path automation. Featuring the company's BLM series brushless servomotors, these systems operate at speeds up to 3 m/s at acceleration rates up to 2 g. Other features include 0.1-µm resolution, repeatable 2-µm placement capability and custom machine bases. Two- and four-axis configurations are available.
