  • DUAL-DSR “Super Range” Spectrometers

StellarNet has expanded its line of eXtreme spectrometers to include the DUAL-DSR series. These fiber optically coupled instruments integrate two or more detector arrays to cover a “super range” from 200 to 1700 nm.

Each DSR system includes a high-speed USB-2.0 PC interface and SMA905 fiber optic signal input. DSR models can be spectroradiometrically calibrated: DSR-C512 (range 280 to 1700 nm), Dual-DSRs.jpgand the DSR-UVN1024 (range 200 to 1700 nm). The SpectraWiz software is included for a variety of SpectroRadiometry and standard spectroscopy measurements using a single graph.

Each DSR spectrometer includes an ultraviolet-enhanced CCD for UV-VIS detection and a TE cooled 512 or 1024 element InGaAs photo diode array for NIR detection. The UVN1024 has better than 2-nm resolution. SpectraWiz software can easily adjust detector overlap regions.

The DSR models can be battery powered,  and the optics have no moving parts for shock-proof durability in a truly portable environment. Optional fiber optic accessories include attachments for spectroradiometry (measurements of lasers, emissions, etc.), optical spectroscopy (absorbance, transmittance, reflectance), chemical analysis (solids, liquids), and remote sensing .

The SpectraWiz software suite is included free to immediately enable a variety of spectroscopy measurements, includin gWindows drivers with customizable programs for LabView, Visual Basic Automation for Excel, Visual C++ and Delphi Pascal.
