BOULDER, Colo., July 5, 2006 -- Alpine Research Optics (ARO) announced that it now offers a range of
high reflectors for use with Q-switched, Nd:YAG, Nd:YVO4 and Nd:YLF
lasers operating at 1064 nm, 1053 nm and 532 nm.
These mirrors
are specifically optimized to deliver high damage threshold, maximum
pulse count lifetime and superior mechanical durability, the company
said. This combination makes them ideal for beam delivery applications
in a wide variety of laser-based machine tools for semiconductor
processing, flat-panel display production, micromachining and marking,
as well as for laboratory and research use.
ARO's standard
product line includes both 1-in. (25.4 mm) and 2-in. (50.8 mm) round
mirrors on fused silica substrates. Specified flatness is λ/10
at 633 nm with a surface quality of 10-5 (over an 85 percent clear
aperture). Designs for either 0° or 45° operation are available.
In
addition to these stock components, ARO said it can produce laser
mirrors customized in virtually every aspect, including size, shape,
substrate material, surface specifications and performance
characteristics.
