The LCP-3215 from Wavelength Electronics Inc. offers temperature control in laser diodes and detectors. Stability of <0.005° is reached when the device is interfaced with thermistors. Measuring 6.1 x 6.25 x 2.5 in., the 1.5-A, bipolar, 10-W controller is powered by standard AC voltages. The 31/2-digit LED display monitors thermistor resistance, and the power and intensity terms and current limits are adjustable from the front panel.
