OPTICAL BANDPASS FILTER
Deposition Sciences Inc. (DSI)Request Info
Using proprietary MicroDyn reactive sputtering technology, Deposition Sciences Inc. has developed a durable and abrasive-resistant wide-acceptance-angle bandpass filter that can be coated on curved surface lenses. The thin-film coating blocks wavelengths from the visible into the short-wave IR band, from 400 to 1200 nm, with transmission at 1064 nm. It enables uniform optical performance on the center area of a lens at normal incidence and performance on the edge at high angles of incidence. The filter is designed for use across a large cone angle and engineered for applications that require high transmission over the entire surface of a curved lens, such as scanning, target designation and seeker heads.
