Kinetic Systems Inc. offers tabletop enclosures for optical tables, suitable for applications where the work space requires an environmentally controlled atmosphere. The lightweight enclosures are constructed with an aluminum framework, acrylic sides and a rigid composite roof. They are available in sizes ranging from 48 × 72 × 32 in. to 60 × 144 × 32 in. in a choice of clear, amber, smoke-gray or black. The side panels slide to provide access to the tabletop from either side. An optional blower with a high-efficiency particulate air filter can be mounted on top to create positive air pressure.
